Ocean of Interiors (2020)
Amid the asphalt jungle, a woman dreams of the sea. Everyday objects from her life–teacups, keys, handkerchiefs, coins–are presented in stylized tableaux that evoke colorful coral reefs. Memories delivered as poetic recitations abduct her, moving her away from the city's noise, steel, and concrete, finally leaving her to rest at a lonely shore.  Parallel-editing techniques visually map tidal movements against an inner self that seeks to break out of a landlocked environment.  A minimal ambient score is interspersed with contrasting ocean and urban soundscapes.
